Exhibitors, 11 am-4:30 pm
Exhibitors from NASA and Esri will be in Cooper 412 to visit with guests and students about their organizations and the work they do. Students can come and learn about opportunities for jobs and prestigious internships!
Clemson Geopaths and the Clemson Mappers will talk about their organizations and how you can get involved in events which map for good!
Drone, LiDAR, VR and AR Tours, 11am-4pm
Come to the 4th floor of Cooper library and choose from a variety of tours of state-of-the-art technology available at your fingertips. Take a tour of our Augmented Reality Sandbox, see the world in Virtual Reality with Google Earth on our HTC Vive, or learn how to fly a drone!
GIS Day Contests, 11am-4pm
Have a blast taking part in our GIS Day Contests with the possibility to win some very cool prizes! Come to Cooper 412 and participate in the fun:

Where in the World. Correctly identify all the Clemson University buildings and you can win a drone or other prizes.

Clemson Campus 3D Coloring. Show off your artistic side by painting a 3D-printed model of campus.

Mapping Our Tiger Spirit. Share your favorite spot around Clemson in our crowdsourced map.

Safety Survey at Clemson. Use our crowdsourced survey and tell where you feel less safe around campus.

Lightning Talks Audience Participation. Ask the most insightful or intriguing question of our Lightning Talks presenters.

Mapping for Good Mapathon. Use your mapping skills (or learn new skills) to help those in need during the Clemson Mappers mapathon and you even win a prize.

Social Media Award. Follow us @GISClemson, tweet your photo of GIS Day with the following hashtags: #GISDay2018, @GISClemson. The person with the most likes and retweets will win a Fitbit. Will need to be present to win at 412 Cooper at exactly 4pm.
Map Gallery, 11am-4pm
A map gallery will feature GIS projects from students and researchers. Come to Cooper 4th floor to see research poster displays, 3D Models, and interactive online maps from your colleagues, and don't forget to vote for your favorite entry! The winning map will be announced during the awards ceremony and will receive a very special prize!

Mapping for Good Lunch Mapathon, 11:30am-1pm
Join the Clemson Mappers for a Mapathon event from 11:30am-1 pm in Cooper 412. All are invited to contribute to humanitarian and relief mapping projects by agencies such as the Red Cross and USAID. Mapathons are an easy and enjoyable way to help out others in need. No prior mapping experience is required. Lunch will be served for mapathon participants. A prize will be given to the most productive mapper!
Lightning Talks, 1:15-4pm
Prepare to be inspired by our faculty and professionals using the latest GIS technologies and learn new ways to apply powerful GIS analysis to your own research. Come to Cooper 412 to check out brief presentations showcasing innovative research happening here at Clemson. The talks will begin with a panel presentation and discussion on GIS for Emergency and Disaster Management.
Prize Giveaway, 4-4:30pm
Our GIS Day contest winners will be announced and receive their prizes. Make sure you're present to win exactly at 4pm at 412 Cooper! Even if you don't win a prize, have a GIS Day cupcake.
