Learning GIS

The Clemson Center for Geospatial Technologies is committed to support training and education in GIS. We offer free workshops and Virtual Campus online training for Clemson's faculty, staff and students that ranges from introductory topics in GIS, to advanced analysis and modeling, to using High Performance Computing (HPC) and High Throughput Computing (HTC) for GIS processing jobs.

Free Access to ESRI E-Learning (Virtual Campus Training)

ESRI E-Learning offers many free online training courses which cover all aspects of GIS. Clemson faculty, staff and students can access all these free resources by creating a My Esri using their standard Clemson login information.

Click here for instructions on creating your My Esri account to access Esri E-Learning.

Hands-on GIS Workshops

We offer many free, hands-on workshops to help you become a knowledgeable, proficient GIS user. All of our workshops are offered on-demand. When there are at least four people interested in a workshop, we send out a Doodle poll to determine the best time for everyone.

Please use this form to register for our workshops. Students who attend some of our recommended workshops can earn a Certificate Of Attendance.

If you need help in any other topic related to GIS, please feel free to Contact us.
